Speaker
Andrea Bronner, MD, is a psychiatrist, psychoanalyst and psychotherapist. Works in private practice and specializes in personality disorders. She was a longstanding member of the board of the Vienna Psychoanalytic Society and is currently a Member of the Austrian Bioethics Commission of the Federal Chancellor.
Ofrit Shapira-Berman PhD is a psychoanalyst and professor at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, where she specializes in trauma and long-term therapy. In addition to her academic role, she heads the mental health division at “First Line Med” (FLM), a voluntary organization comprised of 1,700 doctors and 500 psychoanalysts. Since October 7, FLM has been providing care to Israeli victims affected by the atrocities committed by Hamas. Her expertise and leadership are vital in guiding the organization’s efforts to address the psychological impact of such traumatic events.
